I know most of y’all don’t care about covid anymore (for reasons I find unfathomable tbh) but H5N1 is spreading wildly and will almost certainly make the jump to human/human transmission soon. It may not even have to increase its direct mammalian spread to reach pandemic status though, as birds all over the world are literally falling from the skies or being culled by the thousand, and contact with them or their droppings (perhaps even aerosol spread thereof) can give it to you. We all have to be more willing to stand out from our peers, to do what’s right because its right - the times demand such for so many reasons.

Health is political, and the current rise of fascism here is indeed a direct result of ignoring mass death and illness. The same thing happened when people surrendered to the 1918 flu epidemic, by the way - it just took a bit longer because everything moved slower then. Stay strong, darlings.
